Located in an ancient building, just off one of the main squares in Lucca, this third floor apartment is flooded with light. Sitting almost above the city skyline, the view from every window is excellent. There is also a large two level terrace which provides an excellent vantage to admire Lucca’s magnificent features.
The apartment comprises an enormous sitting room with a dining area. This room is more than half of the total apartment and has authentic Tuscan ceilings of timber beams and terracotta. The ceilings are high and add to the spacious feel of this huge room. It has three walls filled with windows and is truly a delight to be in. The furnishings are authentic Tuscan antiques combined with comfortable modern sofas.
This main sitting room leads into a state of the art kitchen with marble bench tops. There is also a meals area in the kitchen. There are three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is set up with a queen sized bed and the remaining two have twin single beds (these can be replaced with doubles on prior request). There is also a small laundry.
One of the most complimented features of this apartment is the terrace, with its spectacular views and inviting furniture, just waiting for the setting sun and a bottle of local Chianti wine. The terrace is filled with flower pots of seasonal favourites and also has access to a second level. The second level has even better views and provides an excellent hideaway for a spot of sunbathing.
The apartment has satellite TV, video and CD equipment and is fully air conditioned. It also has access to a range of bikes with which to explore Lucca’s exceptional treasures and of course to cycle around the walls.
